Andrew Fletcher – Managing Director

Andrew’s background spans roles in both public and private sector organisations including senior roles within BT, O2, Westminster City Council and Phones 4U.

Andrew held the position of Operations Director within The Caudwell Group (Phones 4U) where he was directly accountable for successfully establishing and developing a number of multi million pound mobile phone and financial services businesses.

An exceptional track record in business is underpinned by a strong formal education comprising B.Eng(Hons) in Environmental Engineering from South Bank University and MBA from Kingston University Business School.

Andrew’s absolute commitment to our customers through innovative and cost effective energy management solutions is central to our approach at Carbon Control Limited.

Jim Marshall – Technical Manager

Jim can boast a career spanning over 17 years in various facets of energy management and conservation. His vast experience is underpinned by a first class technical education comprising B.Eng(Hons) in Electronic Systems and Control Engineering and complemented by an MBA from De Montfort University Leicester.

He has been responsible for the delivery of projects exceeding £1 million in the hotel, leisure and industrial sectors.

His responsibility within Carbon Control Limited is solution identification and delivery. His role encompasses initial site surveys through design, specification and implementation of energy efficiency solutions.

Chas Hall – Finance and Operations Director

In his career spanning 30 years as a Chartered Accountant, Chas has held Finance Directors positions for both UK and International Organisations and worked in both the UK and overseas.

His experience in establishing and growing successful businesses has and continues to be invaluable to the development of Carbon Control Limited.

Andrew Fletcher – The story behind Carbon Control

I passionately believe that we all have an obligation to reduce our energy consumption and contribute to combating the effects of CO2 emissions upon global climate change.

Throughout my career in business, I have been astonished by the apparent lack of investment both in time and money allocated to energy conservation; despite the fact that in recent years energy costs have risen dramatically. From speaking to many business owners and managers it became apparent to me that businesses are in fact concerned about reducing their energy consumption, costs and increasing their sustainability, however they lack the knowledge, expertise and time to tackle these issues.

Against this backdrop, in Spring of 2005, the idea for Carbon Control Limited was born. The business we have created today is fully committed to providing businesses, both large and small, with the knowledge and expertise they lack to identify opportunities for energy conservation, and more importantly provide them with access to the skills and resources to physically implement energy conservation measures and deliver tangible bottom line and environmental benefits.
